DinoPark Zoo Pilsen
A forest park near the Pilsen Zoo with dozens of life-size dinosaurs. Gigantic Apatosaurus, the most photographed T-Rex, a pond with waterfall, a view of all Pilsen from Brachiosaurus, children’s attractions, swings and slides.
Absolutely! It is possible that small children will be afraid a bit of a giant Tyrannosaurus, but it’s certainly nothing so terrible… A playground with many attractions and also other models apart from carnivorous dinosaurs (Maiasaura with babies in the nest etc.) are ideal for small children.
To DinoPark Ostrava yes. Just please remember that your pet will be surrounded here by children, so a leash and a muzzle are necessary. The owner of the dog is under all circumstances responsible for his animal (watching, cleaning after the dog, potential damage). We do not forbid dogs to enter, but we believe in the responsibility of our visitors. To let the dog run free in DinoPark is, however, not allowed at all.
Yes, its upper part. Parking place and entrance are adjusted for wheelchairs, as well as the upper part of the park with the majority of attractions (3D Cinema, DinoShop, coffee shops and approx. one half of models with a view of the others). The lower part is situated under a steep hill in a forest valley, so it cannot be considered as suitable for handicapped people.
None, there are no hidden fees in DinoPark.
No, the prices are identical for individuals, as well as for the groups.
No, the capacity of DinoPark is sufficient. Just come in our opening hours.
No. The escort of a school trip is free of charge (1–2 teachers per one class).
DinoPark is a distinctive touristic attraction, so the visitors come from faraway places where they do not know the name of the village Doubrava where the park is situated. That is why we chose the name of a natural center in the North Moravia. We don’t say anywhere that our park is located in Ostrava, we just call it DinoPark Ostrava. And in the section HOW TO GET TO DINOPARK it is described in details how to get to the park. Disneyland Paris isn’t called Disneyland Magny-le-Hongre either, even if it is located there and not in Paris.
